Emma and Anthony had a scorching hot summers day for their Northumberland wedding,
my good friends Andrew and Gail were also there,
making a movie of the wedding
and also flying their strange drone thingy about the place.
We set the scene with a picture of the guys wandering about the grounds
(I hide under the shade of a large tree – it’s a very hot day !)
Indoors, in the cool of the building, the girls are getting ready.
Emma looks a millino dollars
(sorry – that was a mis spelled million . . . you know the kinda thing anyway . . .
I’m trying to say that she looks good.
and she does . . . doesn’t she !
We nab a quick picture of Emma and her bridesmaids – everyone’s smiling.
just as they should be !
A Middleton Hall wedding photographer lurks near a staircase
to nab some pictures of the bride arriving . . .
Moving on swiftly – there is a procession down the staircase
then down another staircase . . .
I photograph part of the wedding from a balcony
(just for the heck of it – no reason really, it just seemed a good idea at the time . . . )
Back to ground level, rings are exchanged, a book is signed.
Then . . . .swoosh
flkkk ssss shshsh kk flk
(I am trying to make the sounds of confetti fluttering
not very successfully though – I guess it’s pretty quiet stuff).
Guests do a whole bunch of wierd things.
( as guests do)
above, you see two wedding guests trying to shoot a champagne glass
using laser beams fired from iPhones.
or something like that . . .
(I don’t really know what they were doing,
it looked interesting, I took a picture . . . I moved on . . . )
All that remains is for me to thank Emma and Anthony
for allowing me to be a tiny part of their lovely wedding day.
Thank you !
