Alnwick Gardens wedding
Jude and Andy were married in March . . .
They held their celebrations in Alnwick Gardens
so . . . not much greenery in the gardens in March !
That strange checky gingham – ish pattern above
is the Northumbrian tartan.
See – you learn something new every day, don’t you !
I bet you didn’t even know that Northumberland had a tartan !
Also – that cheesy looking stuff to the left of the tartan
(it’s a cheese wedding cake – for those who prefer cheese to cake).
Random pictures of people apparently walking about,
then mobbing together and waving their arms about.
This is called dancing. in case you haven’t seen it before,
it’s called Ceilidh dancing.
Music was provided by blokes with whistles, drums and guitars, as seen above.
We sneaked over to the treehouse to get a couple of pictures before I left.
This is against the rules nowadays – as the Treehouse is run by a different company to Alnwick Gardens,
and if you’re getting married in Alnwick Gardens – then the treehouse is out of bounds
this is in case they have a wedding in progress (which is fair enough)
or in case they haven’t got a wedding in progress ( hmmm. spoilsports ? ).
